Nearby bus 140 drops off at Queechy Park, Penquite Road. The walk to the park is only about 100m from there.
There's a small carpark right at the lake. Press P on the map for directions.
There is not much of a walk, but a small viewing platform is present. Time to allow would depend on the time of year, how long you enjoy scanning a wetland, and how much you like observing antics of nesting birds through binoculars.
