Beskrivning
Norah Headland has mix of rocky platforms, sandy beaches, and open ocean vistas. The area has a good number of waders and is a good place to sea watch. In summer, Wedge-tailed Shearwater, Short-tailed Shearwater and Fluttering Shearwater can be seen in large numbers, while winter brings Black-browed Albatross, Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross, Shy Albatross and even the occasional Wandering Albatross into telescope range.

Norah Headland is about 90 minutes’ drive north of Sydney. It sits just north of the town of Toukley and south of Cabbage Tree Bay, with the Pacific Ocean to the east. The Norah Head Lighthouse carpark has toilets, seating areas, and direct access to the walking paths and lookouts. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
