Beskrivning

The shallow estuary of the Glenelg River Mouth is located in Nelson in south-west Victoria. A trail leads to a boardwalk through saltmarshes and a bird hide. A lookout allows birders to have a better view over the birds resting in the shallows and on the sandbars. Among the birds you can encounter are Greater Crested Tern, Red-necked Stint, Red-capped Plover, Bar-tailed Godwit, Australian Pelican, Eastern Bristlebird, Pied Oystercatcher and Sooty Oystercatcher.
