Beskrivning
Cape Naturaliste is Western Australia's premier winter storms sea-watching site. During south westerly storms Oceanic birds, usually far offshore, often stream close past the Cape in numbers. Typically seen are Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross, Great-winged Petrel, Hutton's Shearwater and Soft-plumaged Petrel.
This spectacular coastal location also holds a good range of bush birds including Southern Emuwren, Red-eared Firetail and White-breasted Robin.

NejExtra information
This location is part of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and lies at the northern end of the iconic Cape to Cape Walk.
The 2.4 kilometre Whale Lookout walk is the shortest and most popular trail from the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. The track takes you to a lookout over the cliffs and out to sea. A spur boardwalk leads down to another lookout perched on the outer cliff top.
However, this suggested walk is just that; a suggestion. There is a range of other walking/birding options adjacent - refer to map.
A telescope is only useful if seawatching.
