Description

Scottish Seabird Centre is located ideally for seawatching of nesting Morski papagaj on Craigleith Island, half a mile offshore, and Obična bluna on the Bass Rock. Plus waders in autumn and seabirds in winter. Morska sprutka, Šljuka kamenjarka, Oštrokljuna njorka, Tankokljuna njorka, Mala njorka, Riđogrli morski gnjurac, Ledenjarka and skuas. Nearby, boat trips leave for the Bass Rock Obična bluna colony and for seal and dolphin trips.

Access

The car park at the centre which fills quickly in summer, allow plenty of time to park. Click on the P in the map to gert directions. Link below has details of other car parks. Bus stop right by the quay.
