Description

Foots Cray Meadows is an area of parkland and woodland of 97 hectares in size, within the London Borough of Bexley. The Meadows are a Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation. Pleasant walk to picturesque Five Arches bridge. Generally common birds here but Veliki ronac reported, and nearby open scrubland had Mala strnadica earlier in 2022.

Access

Park in Riverside Road, or in dedicated car park off Rectory Lane. Click on a P in the map to get directions to a parking. The nearest railway station is Albany Park. The 492 bus route passes the site on North Cray Road. The London Outer Orbital Footpath (London Loop) passes through the site, following the River Cray. The indicated circular walk on the map is about 4 km.
