Panaromic hilltop views over the city of Dundee. Occasionally good for visible migration under the right conditions in autumn.
Dundee Law is a hill in the centre of Dundee, rising to a height of 174 metres. It is the highest point in the city. Worth the trip up just for the views alone. You have panoramic views over the city centre, Dundee Waterfront, River Tay, Fife, Perthshire, the Sidlaw Hills and beyond. Short but tough walk/cycle up, best done by car but parking is limited. The hill has a flat viewing area at the summit. Good for visible migration in correct conditions. You can observe geese and raptors, but mainly passerines (pipits, larks, finches, etc).
Dundee Law is located in the middle of the city of Dundee. There is no public transport to the summit. It is a narrow winding road, a steep but short-ish climb. By car you can drive all the way up and park at the summit, although parking is limited. Press P on the map for directions.
