Description

Bishop's Wood is well known for Leganj with several males churring throughout from May to July. It also has breeding Šumska šljuka that can be seen and heard roding late in the evenings. Other nightime avifauna includes Šumska sova and Kukuvija. If you are going for these reasons, plan to arrive an hour or so before sunset to get the lay of the land and spend till at least midnight - don't forget your torch!

During the day Šumska trepteljka, Obična kukavica, Drozd pevač and other common woodland birds (thrushes, tits, etc.) can be found. Also a good spot for Krstokljun.
