Description
The reedbeds and adjoining scrub in Barnwell Country Park have Trstenjak rogožar, Trstenjak crvrkutić, Barska strnadica and Svilorepi cvrčić as breeders. Vodomar are frequent. Woodland has Kratkokljuni puzić, Brgljez and Siva senica. Winter wildfowl such as Čegrtuša, Krdža, Šiljkan, Riđoglava patka and Ćubasta patka. Barnwell Country Park is located directly to the south of the village of Oundle. Follow the brown and white signs off the A605 Oundle bypass. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Parking at Barnwell Country Park costs £3.20 for up to 4 hours. By Bus: there is a regular bus service to and from Oundle town centre - the bus stop is approximately a quarter of a mile away from the park. Barnwell Country Park is open all day, every day with free admission.
