Description

The Al Marmoon Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is a 225-square-kilometre nature reserve. Carefully planned rehabilitation over the years has resulted in a protected environment for the last of the desert wildernesses. Al Marmoon is the place to visit if you want to combine bird watching with a visit to the desert. Note: the only way to visit the reserve is with an organized tour or staying in hotel Al Maha. Only the tour operator Platinum Heritage is allowed to organize tours here. I can highly recommend the morning tour with breakfast as you will see more on this tour than other activities. A tour with Platinum Heritage is worth the money. Or if your budget allows it, stay in the Al Maha Hotel.
