Description
The Alpnacherried at Alpnachstad is characterized by various pond-like areas that are easy to observe. Some of them have shallow access points, which is interesting for photographers. In addition to a large colony of geese, there are various species of native songbirds.
Breeding birds include Mali gnjurac, Ćubasti gnjurac, Siva čaplja, Crna lunja, Divlja guska, Trstenjak mlakar, Veliki trstenjak, Vodenkos, Barski petlovan, Obični cvrčić, and Barska strnadica. Regular guests during migration period are Vodeni bik, Siva vetruška, Žalar slepić, Eja močvarica, Barska šljuka, Sprudnik pijukavac, Polojka, and Crnoglava travarka .
During winter, Ćubasta patka, Riđoglava patka, and Sivi galeb can be expected.
