Small peninsula on the coast of Uppland where many birds pass during migration, especially in autumn.
Sennebyhaken is at its best during autumn migration. Wind from the southeast can usually provide a good flow of birds and also has the advantage that waders are pressed towards land. September and the beginning of October are perhaps the best time to visit, but spring migration is also an interesting time. Among the birds you can see at Sennebyhaken are Grivasta guska, Ledenjarka, Gavka, Baršunasti turpan, Crni turpan, Crna njorka, Crnogrli morski gnjurac and Belorepan.
Parking at the end of the road, then a walk of a few hundred meters and follow the path out on the small peninsula. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
