Description
The final part of Nyköpingsån river flows through the city of Nyköping. Along the river there is a very good walking path on both sides. Mostly functionally adapted. The best time to visit is during autumn, winter and spring. In the part from the harbor basin and upstream to Korsbron, there is no ice for the most part in winter and can Veliki ronac, Ćubasta patka and Patka dupljašica be observed. On the river's edge Siva čaplja are often standing. At the rapids you can find Vodenkos and Vodomar. On the stretch from Folkunga Bridge to Storhusfallet, there is also a point for Vodenkos, Vodomar and Potočna pliska. From Storhusfallet to Stadsbron are mostly Gluvara, Ćubasta patka and Patka dupljašica. In the spring, the harbor basin is one of the places where the first Obični galeb, Obična čigra and other gulls and terns appear.
