Small island in the shallow bay outside Maln. Many birds gather here to feed and rest. However, the shallows disappear if the water is very high.

Description

Malgrynnan is a small island near Hudiksvall. At low tide it is exposed, but it is almost completely submerged at high tide. From the pier that extends into the sea, during low tide many birds can be observed. You can see a lot of ducks, waders, seagulls and more. See a link to the tides table below.

Access

Malgrynnan is located about 5 km east of the centre of Hudiksvall, close to Malnbaden's campsite outside Maln. There is a large car park a short distance from the pier. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking.
