Description
The Lillfjärden lake is primarily known for its geese. Belolika guska, Divlja guska, and Kanadska guska all breed. The lake also holds the entire swedish non-breeding population of Mala lisasta guska. Other geese like Lisasta guska, Guska ljigarica, Kratkokljuna guska can often be found. Some years Guska glogovnjača (tundranska) and Grivasta guska are also found during migration periods.
The lakes rocky coast is also often home to waders like Crni sprudnik, Crvenonogi sprudnik, Žalar slepić (breeds), Ostrigar (breeds), and Sprudnik ubojica. The lake holds large amounts of Gluvara and smaller amounts of other dabbling ducks. Even species which are rare in northern areas like Čegrtuša, Plovka kašikara and Grogotovac. Smaller amounts of diving ducks can often be found. Wintering Kugara and Borova crvenka are often found. Although the numbers vary widely.

Access
The lake lies directly north to the center of Hudiksvall. There are many places to park the car. Click on the P in the map to get directions. You can make a circular walk around the lake (2,5 km).
