Reserva Natural Riberas de Castronuño is positioned as the only place cataloged as a Natural Area in the province of Valladolid. It is a marsh ecosystem where numerous birds nest, such as Siva čaplja, Gak and Mala bela čaplja. In addition, it serves as a wintering place for Veliki vranac, Riđoglava patka, Ćubasta patka, Plovka kašikara, etc. See the birdlist below.
