Puerto del Pico is easily reached by an impressive mountain road. Birds are very easy to find. Raptors are frequent. Frequent observation of Suri orao. On the rocks, the Modrokos stands out. In the scrub you can find Modrovoljka. Mountain birds are diverse and accessible in this area. See the birdlist below.

Take the A5 to the outskirts of Talavera. Then they indicate Ávila by the N 502. There is a parking lot from where a mountain trails begin. It is recommended to do the trail to expand the list of species. We always visit the area in spring and summer.

Many species can be seen around the car park. It is recommended to visit the area in summer. The temperature is much cooler than in the lowlands.
