Very large urban park next to the Guadalquivir river located on the border between Seville and Santiponce. Very good for bird watching in the city.

Description

Parque del Alamillo, in addition to being very large, it has two lagoons, a large number of trees and bushes, and a path along the Guadalquivir River that allows you to observe a wide variety of species without having to leave the city. Some species that can be seen are Mali gnjurac, Sultanka, Čapljica, Gluvara, Liska, Obični kos, , Bela pliska , Poljski vrabac , Velika senica , Vrabac pokućar and recently Krunasta liska and Patka njorka.

Espagnol: Parque urbano muy grande junto al río Guadalquivir situado en el límite entre Sevilla y Santiponce. Muy bueno para ver aves en la ciudad. Además de ser muy grande, cuenta con dos lagunas, gran cantidad de árboles y arbustos y un sendero junto al río Guadalquivir que te permiten observar una gran variedad de especies sin tener que alejarte de la ciudad. Algunas especies que se pueden ver son Mali gnjurac , Sultanka , Čapljica , Gluvara , Liska , Obični kos , Žutarica , Bela pliska , Poljski vrabac , Velika senica , Vrabac pokućar y recientemente Krunasta liska y Patka njorka.

Access

Go to the Olympic roundabout to cross the Alamillo bridge and take exit 21 towards the Alamillo park. You will find a car park although if you continue forward to the La Cartuja stadium there will be another entrance to the park where you can also park. The Alamillo bridge can also be crossed on foot or by bicycle.

Espagnol: Podemos llegar hasta glorieta olímpica para cruzar el puente del Alamillo y tomar la salida 21 hacia el parque del Alamillo. Encontraremos un parking aunque si se continúa hacia adelante hasta el estadio La Cartuja habrá otra entrada al parque donde también se puede aparcar. El puente del Alamillo también se puede cruzar a pie o en bicicleta.

Recently (October 2021) specimens of the Patka njorka and Krunasta liska have been introduced in the smaller lagoon, which is completely fenced (except for the observatory) to keep dogs out.
