The mejanas of the Ebro are a type of landscape that runs along the banks of the river. These groves create a great ecological corridor on the banks of the Ebro. The mejanas refers to the the area of land that is in the river basin, especially the part of land located inside a meander. The mejanas de Ebro in the region of Ribera Alta is rich in birds.
