Description
The Mas de Melons area consists of a rocky environment where Španska crna beloguza can be found, and it is also one of the areas with the highest density of Buljina. It is surrounded by steppe and dryland areas, making it an ideal habitat for birds typical of this type of habitat. The surroundings are a 1431-hectare agricultural area in the drylands in Lleida. It is home to the largest population of Belotrba sadža in Catalonia, although other steppe bird species such as Ćurlikovac, Mala droplja, and Istočna mala ševa are also found there. These birds find their ideal habitat in the mosaic of fallow land, wastelands, barley fields, olive groves, and almond orchards in this area.

Se rodea de zonas esteparias y de secano que la convierten en una zona ideal para las aves de este hábitat. Es un espacio agrícola de los secanos de la Plana de Lleida de 1431 ha. Access
Mas de Melons is located about 20 km south of Lleida. You can drive to the information center and park there. Press a P on the map for directions. The area is quite large, and you can walk to Mas de Matxerri, but it's a 3 km walk (one way) and can be very hot in late spring. Driving is also an option. Look at the map to find out where to park.
