Description
Les Basses d'en Coll is an important wetland reserve with 191 species seen. Winter wildfowl including Patka njorka, Plamenac, Sultanka, Kašičar and Barski petlovan. Gulls including Morski galeb. Also Crvena čaplja, Veliki trstenjak, planinska trepteljka, Prugasti orao, Jastreb and Beloglavi sup. Golemi zovoj (diomedea) and Balearski zovoj offshore. In the fields and trees Mali slavuj, Modrovrana, Ćubasta ševa and Talasasta astrilda.

Access
Reserve is a 8 km walk south from Estartit along the beach. By car it's 19 km. From the main road between Palafrugell to Torroella, head east at Mas Carles and look for viewing platform. There are campsites north and south. The beach gets busy so summer visits are not recommended. No buses nearby.
