The Almansa steppes or pseudo-steppes are flat or slightly undulating territories formed by extensive crops with small patches of natural vegetation and small groves. It is an area where you can easily see steppe birds like Mala droplja, Belotrba sadža, Crnotrba sadža, Ćurlikovac and be able to observe several colonies of Belonokta vetruška.

Access
From Almansa take the road N-430 direction Alicante during 5,5 km, then take A-31 and drive 800m taking the exit "Casas del Campillo". When you arrive to the roundabout take the third exit and cross the A-31. in the next roundabout take the second exit, drive 650m crossing the bridge, turn right at 300m and you will find a group of houses called "Casas del Campillo" where you can park. The route you see on the map is 8,7 km (one way) and can be done by car, bike or on foot.
