The bird hide at Casa Gerbe is surrounded by mountains, river, lake, forests, farm fields. Depending on the time of year and the water level of the reservoir, different types of birds can be observed. Among the birds that have been seen from the hide are Ćubasti gnjurac, Siva čaplja, Velika bela čaplja, Veliki detlić, Sojka, Vrabac kamenjarac, Crvendać, Crnogrla strnadica, Češljugar, Čižak, Velika senica, Jelova senica, Plava senica, Ćubasta senica, Obični popić, Batokljun, Severna zeba, Obični kos, Mali slavuj, Potočna pliska, Kobac, Mišar, Bela kanja, Riđa lunja and Crna lunja. Access
Casa Gerbe is located close to the village of Gerbe and can be reached by car, there is parking. There is also a circular walking route through the surrounding area of 4 km (described in a separate entry on Birdingplaces).
