Parque Ambiental de Vilamoura is an open terrain overgrown with thistles, lined with reeds and some bushes. The dirt roads are muddy after rain, but passable. Every season interesting because of the variety of bird species. Among the birds you can observe are depending on the season Ribar, Sultanka, Patuljasti orao, Crnoglava tekstor tkalja, Vodomar, Češljugar, Sredozemna crnoglava grmuša, Zelentarka, Vetruška, Pupavac, Eja močvarica, Krdža and Talasasta astrilda.

As estradas de terra ficam lamacentas depois da chuva, mas transitáveis. Cada estação interessante por causa das várias espécies de aves.
