Description
A bay heavily overgrown with reeds and marshy shores - therefore observations in this place are only possible from a large distance, using a telescope. The places from where you can observe the bay are located on a hill, providing a great view. At any time of year, there are many water birds in the bay. During migrations and in winter, these are mainly flocks of: Gluvara, Čegrtuša, Zviždara, Krdža, Plovka kašikara, Ćubasta patka, Liska, Ćubasti gnjurac, Mali gnjurac, Mali galeb (up to several thousand individuals), Labud grbac, Veliki labud, Lisasta guska, Guska glogovnjača (tundranska), Veliki ronac, Mali ronac and Patka dupljašica. During the breeding season Crna čigra and Belobrka čigra nest in this area. The bay is a regular hunting ground for Belorepan and Ribar (spring and summer).

The best place to observe is near the village of Skarchowo - look for elevations. The shores of the bay are inaccessible, there are no roads passable for cars. The suggested parking place is marked on the map. Press P on the map for directions.

A good observation point is located on the shores of a disused gravel pit near Skarchowo. It should be noted that it is best to arrive there early in the morning, before the sun begins to make observations difficult by blinding the observer.
