A characteristic feature of the Park Krajobrazowy Stawki is the presence of numerous streams, ponds and marshes. In these conditions, alder forests, low hornbeam forests and riparian forests developed. The most valuable forest areas are under protection as the ''Wielki Las nature reserve''. In addition to forests, peat bogs and mid-forest also meadows have developed in the park. Among the birds you can see are 6 species of woodpecker (Veliki detlić, Mali detlić, Seoski detlić, Srednji detlić, Zelena žuna and Crna žuna) and also birds like Vuga, Šumska trepteljka, Jelova senica, Ćubasta senica, Siva senica, Planinska siva senica and Batokljun.
