The Odra is Poland's second-longest river. The floodplains of the Odra next to the Janówek sewage treatment plant are a good area for birding. Among the birds you can encounter are Patka dupljašica, Veliki ronac, Mali ronac, Barska strnadica, Strnadica žutovoljka, Velika strnadica, Potočna pliska, Belorepan, Crnoglava grmuša, Mali slavuj, planinska trepteljka, Žuti voljić, Rusi svračak and Vuga.
