Description
Lipie are water reservoirs, the depth of which is from 1 to 10 m, and their bottom, which is lined with sand with only silt in places, is heavily folded, which is typical for post-gravel excavations. The banks of the reservoirs are overgrown with cattail and reeds. The shallower parts of the reservoirs are overgrown with waterweed and pondweed. The complex of ponds is worth visiting especially during spring and autumn migration and in winter, as winter guests such as Riđogrli morski gnjurac, Crnogrli morski gnjurac, geese and ducks stay here. It is also worth visiting during the breeding season to see such species of birds as Brkata senica or Senica vuga.
