Description
The Jezioro Drużno lake is a Ramsar site. It consists of a shallow and largely overgrown lake in the Vistula Delta region near the Baltic coast, with surrounding wetlands, reedbeds and marshy alder forests. The lake is one of the most important breeding refuges in Poland for the Belobrka čigra, Crna čigra and Sivi barski petlić. During summer, more than 140 bird species find refuge within the site. The Jezioro Drużno lake has a large concentration of waterfowl and you can see birds such as: Velika bela čaplja, Ćubasti gnjurac, Gluvara, Labud grbac, Liska, Bela roda, Veliki vranac, Siva čaplja, Belorepan, Vodomar and Eja močvarica.

Access
There is an observation tower located right on the lake in the place where the Dzierzgonka River flows into the lake. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. The path to the tower (1 km) can be very muddy.
