Description
The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of Divlja guska), Liska and various species of ducks (including Crni turpan and Baršunasti turpan), as well as Riđogrli morski gnjurac and Crnogrli morski gnjurac, Ćubasti gnjurac, Crnovrati gnjurac, Ušati gnjurac and Mali ronac winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see Belorepan, sometimes Sivi soko.

Access
Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
