Bugaj Reservoir is a great place during spring and summer time. There is a breeding colony of Obična čigra, Crna čigra and Obični galeb. Two or three pairs of Eja močvarica also breed there. It is also a breeding place for Labud grbac, Mali gnjurac, Vodeni bik, Brkata senica, Barska kokica and Ćubasti gnjurac.
