Description

The forest of Walsbergse Bossen was created when the former heathland and shifting sand area was planted with conifers. There are also some deciduous trees such as oak, birch and rowan, especially on the edges. A small shifting sand remnant is still present. The forest is not very big and varied, but still there are nice birds to see like Veliki detlić, Zelena žuna, Crnoglava grmuša, Jelova senica, Ćubasta senica, Dugorepa senica, Brezov zviždak, Šumska trepteljka and Kraljić.
