Description
This observation site is adjacent to the Dorpzicht route (see separate entry on Birdingplaces). Many birds feed and rest in the immediate vicinity of the observation wall. Others are located at a certain distance, some even at a considerable distance - hence the telescope may be useful. However, the lack of spotting scope in this place will not detract from very satisfying observations.

Nederlands: Een mooi vogelkijkscherm op een kruispunt net ten zuidoosten van Cocksdorp. Veel soorten op korte afstand want veel vogels eten en rusten in de directe omgeving van het scherm. Sommige vogels zitten verder weg, dus een telescoop kan nuttig zijn. Deze plek grenst aan gebied Dorpzicht (zie aparte beschrijving van dit gebied op Birdingplaces).

Access
The easiest way to get there is by bike or car. Four cars can fit in the car park. Click on the P marked on the map for directions. Observation windows placed in the wall are at different heights, which also allows observation of people in wheelchairs. Some observers go about 50 meters beyond the embankment surrounding the observation site and watch the birds from the side of the road. I'm not sure if it makes more sense, sometimes it probably gives a chance for that one and the most important photo, but it makes it 100% difficult for others to observe and scares away birds.

Nederlands: Bereikbaar te voet, per fiets of auto. Er passen vier auto's op de parkeerplaats. Klik op de P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving. De kijkvensters in de vogelkijkwand bevinden zich op verschillende hoogtes, waardoor ook mensen in een rolstoel vogels kunnen kijken. Sommige fotografen gaan zo'n 50 meter voorbij het scherm en bekijken de vogels vanaf de kant van de weg. Ik weet niet zeker of het logischer is, soms kun je dan misschien een mooiere foto maken, maar het maakt het voor anderen moeilijker om te vogels goed te observeren omdat vogels verstoord worden.
