The Haaksbergerveen is a birdrich bog area on the border between The Netherlands and Germany. In spring, you can see many species of breeding bird here, like Obična kukavica, Crnovrata muharica and Obična crvenrepka. Typical species of open moorland, like Crnoglava travarka and Obična travarka are present too. Even the forested parts of the area are great for breeding species, like Vuga. It's a very quiet area, so even Ždral has moved here to breed. In winter, this part is the abode of Veliki svračak. Other nice birds you can find here are Rusi svračak, Obična beloguza, Mali detlić, Poljska eja and Eja močvarica.
