Description
Very photogenic wadi at Imider. The eastern part of this wadi has also been described on Birdingplaces (see separate entry Imider Wadi East). But the western part of this wadi is also worth a visit. You have a chance to see Pharaoh Eagle-Owl resting or nesting on the cliffs or to see many species of wheatear: Pustinjska beloguza, Western Mourning Wheatear (Maghreb), Crvenorepa beloguza, Španska crna beloguza, White-crowned Wheatear and Obična beloguza. Other birds you can encounter are Zeba trubačica, Pustinjska ševa, Zapadna ćubasta ševa, Krški soko, Crvenoglavi svračak, Sredozemna crnoglava grmuša and Atlas Long-legged Buzzard.

Access
From the outskirts of Boumalne you drive 15 km to the east on the N10. There is a small parking along the road. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates. Opposite the parking a dirt road leads you to the wadi. It's a 1,5 km walk one way. Best time for a visit is March, April or May.
