Cape Ghir is one of the westernmost points on the Moroccan coast. Therefore, this is an excellent place to watch the bird migration at sea. The rocky promontory is easily recognizable by the lighthouse that you see from afar. Among the birds you can observe are Obična bluna, Golemi zovoj, Balearski zovoj, Oštrokljuna njorka, Kratkorepi pomornik, Veliki pomornik, Dugokljuna čigra, Mala carska šljuka, Bengalska čigra, Morski galeb and Sredozemni galeb. Also Ćelavi ražanj can fly by. Western winds bring most birds. A spotting scope is necessary for good observations.

Access
Cape Ghir is located about forty kilometers northwest of Agadir along the coastal road. You can park on the fields a little south of the lighthouse (click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates). From there you can explore the area around the lighthouse on foot and find the best viewpoint for your spotting scope.
