Description

In the lower wooded part of the Magaro Mountain area, Central European woodland species can be expected, including Zimovka, Mali detlić, tits and others. As soon as you leave the tree line behind, classic species of the high mountains can be observed, including Gorska lasta, Planinska ušata ševa, Kos kamenjar, Žutokljuna galica and planinska trepteljka. There are regular sightings of the elusive and sought-after Kamenjarka. In addition, Poljska ševa, Crnoglava travarka, Obična travarka and Drozd imelaš can be found on the plains. It is worth keeping an eye on the sky to look for raptors such as Osičar and Zmijar.
