5 kilometers east of Genoa city center, an interesting urban riverside walk with a Siva čaplja colony and the presence of birds all year round.
A walk along the Torrente Sturla is interesting for the heronry with Siva čaplja. And going up the river you can observe birds like Barska kokica, Barski petlovan, Morski galeb and Obični galeb. Also easy to see all year round are Gluvara, Veliki vranac and Vodomar and passerines (Češljugar, Zeba, Obični zviždak). You walk along the river, starting either from the mouth or from the Roman bridge located further inland.
