Description
The Stagni di Marceddì and Corru S'Ittiri form part of a Natura 2000 protected area. These lagoons are a mosaic of brackish and freshwater habitats, shaped by natural inlets, sandbars, and artificial dikes. The shallow lagoons attract waders, gulls, and ducks. Birds you can observe include Vlastelica, Krdža, Šarena utva, Srebrni vivak, Žalar blatarić, Velika carska šljuka, Polojka, Crvenonogi sprudnik, Sprudnik migavac, Krivokljuni sprudnik, Šljuka kamenjarka, Sprudnik ubojica, Mala sprutka, Stepska trepteljka, Crnoglava travarka, Mala bela čaplja, and Tankokljuni galeb.
