Large park overlooking the Venetian lagoon and an excellent place for birdwatching.
San Giuliano Park is a large urban park that overlooks the Venice lagoon. The park is one of the most biodiversity-rich areas of the Venetian lagoon environment, and excellent for observing birds. Good areas are the side of the lagoon and the two artificial ponds surrounded by reedbeds. Numerous species of birds lurk in the reeds. Among the birds you can see in the park and the surrounding are Šarena utva, Grogotovac, Crnovrati gnjurac, Mali gnjurac, Mali vranac, Sveti ibis, Trstenjak crvrkutić and Veliki trstenjak.
