Lago di Calaita is located in the Upper Valle del Vanoi and features a breathtaking balcony overlooking the Pale di San Martino. The lake is 15 km away from Fiera di Primiero and is easy to reach by car. The lake is surrounded by thick fir woods. A very beautiful and unspoiled environment. You can choose to explore the lake and its surroundings or also taking one of the trails up the high mountains. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Veliki tetreb, Ruševac, Kamenjarka, Suri orao, Buljina, Potočna pliska and Krstokljun.
