Description
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are Riđogrli morski gnjurac, Ušati gnjurac, Gavka, Crvenovrata liskonoga, Srednji ronac, Grivasta guska, Veliki labud, Arktička čigra, Žalar blatarić, Muljača, Crvenonogi sprudnik, Kratkorepi pomornik, Islandski galeb and Severni galeb.
