The road towards Makara is a great route to search for many typical inland breeding species that inhabit the drier parts of the island, like Turska kamenjarka, Sredozemna beloguza and Brgljez lončar. The rocky outcrops are a great spot for Modrokos and Riđogrla strnadica. The small scattered bushes are good for migrating Obična travarka, Obična beloguza and Crnoglava travarka.
Further down the road, the road lies adjacent to a shallow valley with scattered trees, and several small groves. These areas are great for migrants, like Pčelarica, Pupavac, shrikes, warblers, swallows, swifts and flycatchers.
