Description
Mt Hymettus is a great birding place, very close to the city center of Athens with several species to enjoy such as Ripelova grmuša, Sredozemna beloguza, Turska kamenjarka, Riđi mišar and Mala muharica . Different habitats (scattered forest, olive groves, makia vegetation, rocky slopes) provide excellent habitat for a variety of birds, basically passerines.
