Description
At the south of the Mytilini peninsula is Charamida (or Haramida) Marsh. Easy to get to, lots of birds can be found there. In spring it is sometimes difficult to view the pools due to the tall reeds. In autumn the site is dry but still attracts many migrants and Sredozemna crnoglava grmuša occurs here year-round. Other birds you van observe in the area include Gorska lasta, Siva muharica, Dugorepi svračak, Crna crvenrepka, Crnoglava travarka, Sivi soko, Ražanj, Vlastelica, Obična beloguza, Patka njorka, Grogotovac, Vijoglava, Turska kamenjarka, Sivi voljić and Riđogrla strnadica.
