Description

In winter, Velika bela čaplja and Siva čaplja can often be observed on the meadows. The best time for this is early in the morning. The nearby nesting Bela roda often forages at the river's edge. Both Divlja guska and Kanadska guska or Gluvara are frequent visitors to the biotope all year round.

Forest dwellers are also often found near the mill. Both Bela pliska and Potočna pliska can be observed in the area. Songbirds such as Konopljarka or other Fringillidae are also regularly seen.
