Description
Salzwiesen Bülk is an area of rewetted meadows. In the open area, hundreds of geese such as Divlja guska, Kanadska guska and ducks such as Čegrtuša, Plovka kašikara and Zviždara can be seen, especially during migration. There are also a variety of waders, such as Barska šljuka and Zlatni vivak.
The road and footpath lead directly past the area and offer good observation opportunities. At the end of the road is the Bülk lighthouse. Other waders can be seen on the beach, for example the Šljuka kamenjarka and Morska sprutka. Rare, exceptional sightings are also possible, such as the Istočnoazijska žuta pliska, which is very rare in Germany.
