The Rantzauer See has lots of waterbirds (mostly ducks and geese) on the lake. Songbirds in the forest and the surrounding fields. Among the birds you can see are Ćubasta patka, Divlja guska, Kanadska guska, Ćubasti gnjurac, Barska kokica, Liska and Crnoglava grmuša.
