Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord is a complex of gravel pits west of Rössing. Breedings birds include Svilorepi cvrčić and Veliki trstenjak. More important from October to February for wintering waterbirds. Gulls and Divlja guska roost in July and August. Birds you can observe in the area include Lisasta guska, Guska ljigarica, Čegrtuša, Gluvara, Krdža, Ćubasta patka, Veliki ronac, Srednji ronac, Mali gnjurac, Ćubasti gnjurac, Liska, Barska strnadica, Obični galeb, Sivi galeb, Morski galeb, Srebrnasti galeb, and Sinji galeb.

The Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord are located west of the town of Rössing and north of the town of Nordstemmen. You can park along the road near the sports field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From there you can explore the area on foot or by bike.
