Description
Jröne Meerke (little green sea) is a small park with a pond at the north-western edge of the city of Neuss. It contains the only Western European colony of Snežna guska. Depending on the season there are also numerous other waterfowl, such as Ćubasta patka, Gluvara, Čegrtuša, Mali gnjurac, Veliki vranac, Barska kokica or Liska. There are many trees and a small forest in the park that host numerous songbirds, including Drozd pevač, Drozd imelaš, Brgljez, Zeba, Češljugar, Zelentarka, Crvendać, Plava senica, Velika senica and many more. If you want to see the Snežna guska, you should come in the early morning or before sunset as the geese often go out to the surrounding fields for feeding.
